The New Merchant Toolkit is an automatic drip campaign for merchants who have just been approved.

When it starts The moment a merchant deal reaches Passed Compliance or Market to Transact, that merchant is enrolled. Either stage counts, because merchants are often moved straight to Market to Transact without a separate compliance step.

When it stops The moment the deal reaches 1st Transaction. No merchant who is already trading keeps receiving getting started emails.

Two tracks Standard is for merchants approved within the last 14 days. Backlog is for merchants who have been sitting longer and need a warmer re opening. Both send on day 0, 3, 10, 21, 45 and 75.

What the emails say Each one points at the New Merchant Toolkit and tackles one job: getting set up, taking the first payment, promoting it in store, adding staff, and reviewing the numbers. First name and business name are pulled from the contact record and stamped at enrolment, so wording stays consistent even if the record changes later.

Where to watch it Marketing, then Merchant Toolkit. You can see who is enrolled, which track they are on, what has been sent, and who has exited.
